Yah, Craig, the reef keeps the cold water from welling up and in. It's still my favorite beach for swimming.

There used to be only Amtrack trains and freights; now you've got the Coaster commuter trains and we hear them here in C'bad too.

The trick is to get the sites off the street where all you hear is waves, dood.

Inky, I gotta get you in touch with Dutch (who organizes this yearly beach camping trip). He has been going there for 30+ years and he was responsible for building the fountain there in memory for someone I never knew, but who was part of that campground. He is not on this site (he is lucky to get email), however, he has been at Bear for over 25 years.

Blackie and Jean Johnson were "our" era. Still alive and well in their late 80's.
