Audio Description

Every Valentine's Day (for some reason it was on February 10 this year) the Jeff and Jer showgram do an event called the mile of men. Men register in advance then show up between 6:00AM and 7:00AM to check in where their name is found on the roster next to a number, then they're handed a sign with a corresponding number. Then at 7:00 they walk out to Convoy street and women drive by and phone in the number they want (sort of like ordering Chinese take out). Well during the wait between 6 and 7 while we were in the radio station's parking lot, "little Tommy" Sablan who is one of Jeff and Jer's sidekicks was calling in on his cell phone (or maybe Jeff and Jer called him) and asked "do any of you guys have a message for the ladies?" so I was the only one raising my hand. He put his cell phone up to me and I said "check out my music video: dancingstormtrooper.com!" and the guys in the parking lot laughed. Little Tommy talked to Jeff and Jer some more then he said to me, "they want to bring you in" so they interviewed me for a little while (which I unfortunately don't have a recording of) to ask a few things like what I do for a living and the story behind the dancing stormtrooper video then they let me go back out to the parking lot. Well anyway, I was the "last man standing"; the last guy left who didn't get picked so they brought me in and interviewed. They gave me a CD copy at the end of the interview and I edited out the commercials
