Can anyone tell me just happened to Gray's landing? For so many decades it was well kept and busy. Hey, it was the best marina "By a dam site." on the lake. (Don't get offended, that was their motto) Then it seemed one spring they just never opened. Someone once said they thought the owner had died without any will or heirs. I KNOW someone on this board knows the REAL TRUE story and will enlighten all of us.
It was sad to see their building torn down this Spring (I think it was this Spring) What doesn't kill me does NOT make me stronger. That is sad I hadn't heard that they used to have a good business. lots of people paid to fish on the docks. guess with the public ramp they lost that. and being so far out hurt them.

I have it from a reliable source that the owner is still alive and has tried to sell it. That's all I have heard. They tried to get John Saunders to buy it, but he won't.

I think John has a great spot though I probably wouldn't have picked it so with Grays gone he has the north shore to himself sweet. Seems like I have known him forever Who would have thought you could make a living renting ski's out of a bus a good out of the box thinker. from what I understand it was sold then the new owners did not pay the bill so the old owner took it back but the lake rites where not signed back so the person has held on to the lake rite and there is a fight to get that back. Todd C A Smile Goes A Long Way To Making Somebodys Day Great
