Is the dam construction affecting traffic? Going UTH on Friday the 2nd and wondering which way is better this year....

Depending on when, there has been some delays at the Dam due to construction. I prefer hwy 38 over the 330/18 anyway so not an impact to me. I use the back way (Hwy 18 via Lucerne) a lot as my folks live in Palm Springs.

I have usually used the 330/18 and on occasion used 38 (nice easy drive)
However I have never used the 15 (coming from SD) to ? Bear Valley Rd to 18 the back way......does that add a lot of time verus 38? Curves don't bother me but traffic kills me... Thanks for all the input....

I use 15 to Bear Valley to 18 when I bring up the boat. It adds about a half hour to the drive. Easy driving though.

330/18. I'm on the west side so the extra time taking the other routes is just not really worth it unless there is an accident or construction.

Y'know, Nietzsche says: "Out of chaos comes order."

I prefer 18 to Victimville as well. Cement plane? I bet it has rocky landings and take offs.

Thank to all that responded to my AMAZON delivery question.. I took Boots suggestion and contacted Cust. Serv.{888-280-4331}. After dealing with a offshore guy with limited english for 20 minutes, I asked for a USA supervisor. He had me update my address list before ordering. when I did it still showed not valid. He checked and it was good address from his end. He had me click ENTER again, the system accepted my BBL Address! I placed to love seat order. Scheduled to arrives Saturday July 2nd. Again thank to all who offered advice and help. i'll let you know the delivery out come.

Lots of close-interval thunder then everything went quiet. It still looks and feels like it’s going to rain but so far not a drop.

Good day everyone. Reporting from the fire burned area of Duarte, things here are back to normal. A few hand crews are on the scene but the helicopters are gone, I presume up to Lake Isabella.

I hope all you are enjoying everything in life today!
