This isn't exactly SOCALmountains, but amazing nonetheless. The storms we've had here for the past week brought 15.5 FEET of snow to Mammoth Mountain. For those of you who have skied/snowboarded off the top of Mammoth, these pictures may look familiar... or not! These pictures are from Mammoth's Facebook page: [Click Here]

Mammoth Mountain closing in on record snowfall season
Story - [Click Here]
Unrelated to the previous story, here's a photo Mammoth recently posted on their Facebook page with the following caption: Any guesses on how long our snowbanks will last?

I don't think the hard stuff is gonna come down for a while yet!

No good deed goes unpunished.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me alone.

Ya, I think they're just gonna skip mountain biking this summer! I wonder if they'll stay open for skiing/snowboarding into August again? I believe their latest closing date ever was August 13, 1995!

So lets see- kids were in a tree building a fort, dropped a hammer, hit Goat in the face which caused him to crash into a camp fire where they were making fajitas thus burning his hand and getting fajita all over his shirt! Does that explain it?

I got hit in the face with a hammer, crashed hard on Cougar Crest and burned a finger and threw fajitas on my shirt. Shall I continue?
