You didn't bring me any back??
Thanks for the review Mel. I haven't been able to try them yet. I think it will be tough to beat the good old trusty In'n'Out.

WINTER IS OVER AND SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

The Cajun Fries with malt vinegar (on the side) are a nice change of pace. When ordering their fries, keep in mind that they give you way more than a normal order's worth. The regular size is plenty for two or more people (they fill the cup with fries, put it in the bag with your burger(s) and then pour pretty much another full serving of fries on top of that -- part of what makes the bags so greasy.

While we're talking burgers, the next 'new' place on my list to try is "Slater's 50/50" [Click Here] for menu. They have locations in San Diego, Huntington Beach and Anaheim. I just learned about them this weekend, but haven't tried it yet.

The 50/50 refers to their patty which is supposedly 50% beef and 50% bacon. Heavy emphasis on bacon in
several of the menu items, including a chocolate brownie Ala Mode with Ghiradelli syrup -- and bacon!

They offer 1/3, 2/3 and full pound patties -- after cooking weights!

If I survive the ambulance ride to the ER and the ensuing quadruple by-pass surgery after trying this place,
I will follow up with a review.

The 50/50 place is down the street from my office but we have never been brave enough to try it. Maybe it is time to get brave.

Sounds like a good idea Cammy! I'm back on the east coast all of next week (so I probably won't work out at all) and then come home to do the Tough Mudder in Temecula on the 26th. It would be a great excuse to go pig out at Slater's!!!

I can't really talk about the movie due to a confidentiality contract I signed but, the movie will be out next summer. It's also with Susan Sarandon, Dan Aykroyd and Kathy Bates.
