I've just started checking out the Firefox version. Note that it's pretty much O.S. agnostic. I'm using a Mac. I'm starting with Firefox because it's not my main browser, and I really don't like toolbar clutter.

So, be warned I'm far from ready to give the the Good Housekeeping seal.

Anyway, here's the link:

At first glance, it has some interesting stuff.

"I was goin' faster than I'd ever gone before, when I fell off."
- 'Little' from "Little Faus and Big Halsey"
"Microsoft is very sorry."
- David Pogue, "The Missing Manual" series, Vista edition
"Don't bother me; I'm clinging to my guns and Religion."

Holy cow! Incredible collection of 'stuff'. I'm impressed, for whatever the heck that's worth.

The aircraft transponder site that I posted in this Forum is one of the Toolbar's non-Ham listings. Since I put the Toolbar in Firefox, yup, it has the same blivit on Mac Firefox, i.e. no map display (there are planes flying around, but have no idea where they are! ).

Anyway, so far so good. This guy (guys?) put a TON of work into this thing.

Thanks, Craig! It needs to have someone who actually knows something looking at it.

BTW, I think my problem with certain maps on Firefox is because this is the new 4.0 version. Why they let it out knowing it was missing major pieces of support is mystifying.

After two attempts Haminfobar wouldn't install on Safari on my MAC. John of Haminfobar tried to help but his instructions did not fit my version of Safari. John suggested I ask for help from Conduit

I got a canned response on how to uninstall. So I assume there is no support for my install problems. Following their uninstall instructions, I see some key items, plist and script were never installed.

Joe,

What rev. numbers are your O.S. and Safari? If I have a configuration that's close, I'll give it a try.

Just for drill I'll try it on my wife's computer which is all very current stuff, hardware and software.

Rats, don't have anything that goes back that far. Sorry. Pretty sure we stopped the G4s and G5s at Leopard. One Dual G5 is down right now. When it heals, I'll check it to be sure.

It woke me up. We rarely feel them in our house but this one was a pretty good shake. Must've been fairly shallow. Anyone else feel it?

So lets see- kids were in a tree building a fort, dropped a hammer, hit Goat in the face which caused him to crash into a camp fire where they were making fajitas thus burning his hand and getting fajita all over his shirt! Does that explain it?
