Siver, you can get the license a couple of different ways, you can go in the lottery in September and pay about $10,000 or you can buy from a private seller on the open market and depending on the type of license can go for $30-$50k. Beer and wine is easy and cheap, full liquor is more expensive and it also depends upon the type of establishment, bar/restaurant, restaurant/bar, bar, etc......

Julie from Peppercorn is also opening up a restaurant where Mandoline's used to be, originally targeted for January but because of some construction issues it looks like targeted for June now. I don't have the menu but I understand it will be more of a bar/restaurant than Peppercorn and slightly less expensive.

Also the old Boo Bear's Den is gonna open up sometime in the next few months with another well known proprietor but I am not sure about the exact status of that. Thats a great space and location, they just need someone in there to make great food, which I think it will be.
It is great to see the updates here. I have been told about all of the new spots and am happy to see things are moving ahead. Todd C A Smile Goes A Long Way To Making Somebodys Day Great

Reading the menu from Black Diamond makes me hungry and I just finished breakfast!
The Boo-Bear location could be excellent. I used to like it, but over the last 5 to 8 years the quality seemed to decline, though that is only my opinion.
