Yeah, I've heard them announcing that on KTLA for awhile, bummer for those who have direct, I love KTLA! Someone, somewhere mentioned Charter was also going to stop carry Channel 6, anybody heard anything on that?

Heard that this morning also. They are advising those with Direct to change providers or get an antenna and pick KTLA off the air

I knew about it and even called Directv the other day. They really don't care what their customers think.

I was bummed when I turn on the TV this morning and my news wasn't on. I'm pissed off and thinking about going to another provider.

I love the KTLA morning news and would suffer with out it. I am glad that Charter doesn't have the same problems as DirectTV does.

Yep...my favorite too! Tomorrow morning is going to suck without it. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks and then if it's not on then...bye bye

usualy they settle these at the last minute We don't get KTLA down here in our local pack but I wish we could. I'm still happier with direct then others I see.
Is Ch 5 available on the internet?

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I miss my KTLA. But it's all business which means its all about money. We can't get cable and I know TOO many folks unhappy with Dish so I guess we're stuck ....or do what we do more often these days and pull it off the net! :-)

Feed the coon some lead pellets.

I am down in the SGV and a coon demolished my yard last night. Dug up and killed half the plants. Tipped over pots. It was like a vandal. They are naughty creatures. I think the drought is making them desperate.

Thanks KK, we do have three dogs in the house who walk past the fish and veggies on their way to the yard, so that is a big concern. Also neighbors cats looking to go fishing was a problem, but now that they can not catch anything they stay away.

But Mrs Raccoon still comes around and I want to be careful of her----

DE is great! I have lots of pets and farm type animals. Go ahead and use the pool grade for the ants, it is cheaper. There is a food grade to use around pets. It is white in color and has been more refined for pet use. Do not use the gray color, pool filter stuff around pets!

Thanks for the advice. Terro is wonderful for killing most ants I agree, but these are little tiny fast ants that just moving into San Diego and are taking over. They eat Terro and just keep on draining it dry and keep on eating it and nothing seems to happen to them. I will try Diatomaceous earth. Thanks

These ants are not even that excited about sugar, they seem to like protien and they hate the sunlight, so if i put a bowl of dog food in the sun they leave fast leaving an amonia sweet smell behind whech leaves in a few days. In the ktichen just washing with water right away makes them leave for a while, but scouts are all over the garden, some in the house, a friend had them kill a small tree. And they farm some little tiny black round thing.
