I know they have some streaming content on their website, however, I do not believe they stream their live programming over the Internet.

WINTER IS OVER AND SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

I've had less trouble with Direct then any other so if they take away a ch. I really don't care i'll adapt and move on, BUT if they touch my sports channel's I'll leave in a hot second!!

I don’t need your attitude thanks, I have one of my own!

for what seems a normal run of the mill TV channelKTLA seems to be quite a survivor. One of the first channels it was one of the few we got on the hill when cable was first available. It was right up there with CBS & NBC. I think Direct tries to bully the stations by not seeming to care if they lose the rights to a station KTLA seems secure enough in their market not to fold. I would guess almost all their customers (except Big Bear) can pull them in free

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

It isn't just KTLA. We lost the local Fox affiliate (channel 69) in the San Diego local feed from DirectTV. I found out when I went to play back Sunday's Nascar race that ended up taping as several hours of lame music with a 'this channel is blocked' message!

you missed a great finish.
did you do a search? It should be repeated on ESPN or somewhere?

I love the KTLA morning news and would suffer with out it. I am glad that Charter doesn't have the same problems as DirectTV does.

Charter kicked off FoxSportsWest a couple years ago so we switched to DirecTV so we could watch Angels baseball games.
Last I knew, Charter has FSW back, but until DirecTV does something to make us unhappy, we'll keep it.

Yeah, I've heard them announcing that on KTLA for awhile, bummer for those who have direct, I love KTLA! Someone, somewhere mentioned Charter was also going to stop carry Channel 6, anybody heard anything on that?

Yes, the info about Channel 6 was in our Charter bill.
'Effective on or after 4/25/12 Big Bear Lake ch 6 and Victorville Educational Access ch 6 located on Basic Service will no longer be available. Replacement programming is being considered and will be announced in the near future.'

We were sure surprised to hear that! What a shame to eliminate that BB channel. Wonder what happened to cause that...

Btw... I was hearing on the radio that you can still hear channel 5 if you've got the old rabbit ears for your TV or (ha!) antenna.

I haven't heard any details, so that sounds like it is worth searching for! Thanks!

Just saw a few minutes ago that DirecTV has settled their with Tribune Co so that they can carry these local channels again. Just tried it and we now get the San Diego Fox affiliate so those of you want the LA station should have it back now or very soon!

I don't get why KEYT which is in Santa Barbara, is not on DirecTV in Ventura which is only 30 miles away. KEYT is on channel 3 and there is no channel 3 in the lineup so there is space for it.

Well I guess I'll just sit here and blow up then, shall I?

So lets see- kids were in a tree building a fort, dropped a hammer, hit Goat in the face which caused him to crash into a camp fire where they were making fajitas thus burning his hand and getting fajita all over his shirt! Does that explain it?
