This Chipmunk was sitting just outside one of our windows the other day. You can see the reflection of our windows, the Sun & some snow on our deck in his eyeball on the second photo!

Former Arizona Governor Jan a Brewer still maintains her Facebook page, and this morning she posted a very touching memorial to the brave firefighters who died two years ago at Yarnell Hill. RIP brave souls.

Tar, it varies from day to day... I guess you missed out on our outbreak Sunday. One day the east end of town gets thunderstorms, the next day they could fire up over Fawnskin. Very hit & miss but remain possible through the end of this week and off & on through August.

blessed are the memories of the 19 firefighters of Yarnell Hill and may their brethren all come home safely.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of the tragic loss of 19 wildland firefighters at the Yarnell Hill Fire in AZ. Never forgotten. Prayers that their families are ok and that our firefighters stay safe.
