SAN BERNARDINO - A suspected thief was in extremely grave condition early Saturday after he cut wires at a Southern California Edison substation and was electrocuted, police reported.
The San Bernardino man, whose name was not released because his family hadn't been notified, was taken to a hospital, police Lt. Mike Madden said.
At about 2 a.m. police received several calls reporting a person was on fire at the Edison facility at Rialto and Stoddard avenues, Madden said.
