hearing of a brush fire in palmdale - about 200 ac , helicopters are working over the fire tonite the fire has NOT jumped elizbeth lake road per ic .
fire is burning away from structures. per [Click Here] scanner

fire started about 9 pm tonite..channel 11 news has this

north west corner - lake elizabeth road has wind on it now

angeles national forest is sending in 2 bulldozers and here is a website that talkes about this fire

there is also a large gass line that runs up into this area of the fire that the comand is aware of.. = scanner
6 fire engins and a water tender in staging

left flank is backing down towards the natural barriers same with the right flank,,per helicopter pilot on scanner

correction there are no fire engins on this fire tonite due to access trouble so they are using 3 helicopters to try and drop water to cool the head of the fire =

west of the fire has ranches but right now on tv news the fire is moving towards quartz hill
fire is burning towards the north west at this time per channel 11 news

s many as 15 tornadoes have been reported by the National Weather Service this evening as severe thunderstorms continue across the Plains. Wichita and Oklahoma City areas have been among the reports. Hail, some as large as baseballs, have also been causing damaging across the region. Wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour were reported in association with intense thunderstorms.
