Very Interesting stuff as always Richard! We really appreciate all you and your team do to collect, organize, and categorize so much history in the Big Bear Valley and present portions of it here to SCM!

Thank you for the kind words. Apparently many others are at least looking at the file since the number of "views" is over 9000. I was wondering how accurate of a count that really is. I am thinking that every time someone clicks on the subject the view count goes up by one not some other quantity.

Richard, Yes, that would be the number of "views" since the thread was started in November. A view is simply that, a view of any page of the thread. Not Unique. For example, I viewed this thread 5 or 6 times to just read the various PDF files you posted so you can see how views can add up with just a single person, however, 9000+ views is WAY above average for a thread this old so you should feel good about that!

I am amazed that there has been over 23,000 views on this post. I am still looking to identify members of the cast that are unidentified in the panoramic photograph. If you have any idea please post.

Thanks for the info IDK! So it sounds like 2N13 isn't passable between Fawnskin and GV is that right?

We took a moto to Butler last Saturday. Gates were closed in both directions and the base. The road was not passable by Jeep due to storm damage. Deep wash outs of the road. Gates closed from Green Valley and at least two very large trees across the road between GV and Butler. So, unless someone did some work this week, your only options to Butler are foot, horse or bike.
(oh, and chicken, course. If you have em, ride em)

Thanks Benny! Butler would be great to see (by far my favorite!) We're in BBC and are planning-on taking 2N13 around to Green Valley Lake so if Butler isn't open we may try for Keller on the way back to BBC

I know quite a few are Kev, which one you headed to? Not sure if Butler is, but I've heard a couple others reporting in.

Only 1? Fantastic news. Quite surprised that's the first case in nearly a month, after the 4th of July holiday weekend, or what felt like it. Slow rate of spread, the remaining 9 have since recovered and resumed normal activity.
