It costs payload to recover the boost vehicle. Especially to bring it back to launch site rather than a barge. Then again, the barge costs money. SpaceX has done a fantastic job of advancing the technology. The space race was us vs Russia. We launched the Saturn5 on 5 huge engines. The Russians tried to light 30 engines on their first stage with horrible results.

Nicely done - It's good to have foreground items to give the sense of scale.

Yesterday was very fun and had quite a turnout. I've always enjoyed the Historical Museum and will go multiple times a year. I'd say it is to bring people visiting but I'd go anyways. Not only do they have excellent exhibits but the docents are so wonderful and knowledgeable.

Had a great time at the Museum yesterday! Everyone working there was awesome. My son had a great time, thanks again for the amazing day. Lots of great history there, some locals didn't even know about (including me). We will be back.
