SAN BERNARDINO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have the contractor, All American Asphalt, for the State Route 18 (SR 18) paving and guardrail project work during the next two weekends to expedite the project in preparation for colder temperatures and to also expedite striping for better visibility during fog and storm activity.

The final pavement work will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 6, 7, 13 and 14 from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. The paving will take place in some locations of the mainline and in the turnouts. Once the paving is completed the striping will take place. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-November.

Lane closures will be necessary for the work with one lane open in each direction between Lower Waterman Canyon and SR 138 (Crestline Cutoff).

Motorists are advised to use State Route 330 (SR 330) as a detour to avoid delays.

Thank you for your patience and please slow down for the lane closures and work crews.

LoveTheView, I have had Charter Cable since 2001 and their performance and reliability cannot be beat! My current package provides 350Mbits down and 25Mbits up for a very reasonable price. The best part is that I very rarely have any problems with my service.

Doohickey, where did you work? Showed my husband our note and he said he did the same thing at JPL. We both worked there for 30 years. And NorthShoreAllen I have a bunch of patches and worked for a scientist that went on two shuttles, the first one being STS117. I have a picture he sent me with autographs of all of them on it.

Hello All -
We are considering wifi at home in Crestline. Can I ask what others are using (cable, phone) and how reliable it is? I see postings on this forum from time to time, but it all seems to be BigBear.
Thanks!

Thanks for the link, but SB County Fire District has its own rules and does not always follow USFS.
