Hi all. So ask yourself, do you really feel prepared to deal with the aftermath of a major earthquake? What would you do if your water system was severely compromised and unusable? Do you know how to shut off the gas to your house? What if your house was shifted off its foundation and not safe to enter? Do you have a plan? What about your family?

This isn't a fantasy scenario, it's what I just spent the last 16 days responding to and dealing with in Trona. It can happen again and it could happen here.

You are invited to learn more about disaster preparedness and how to help yourself, your neighbors and your community through Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training by visiting Ready.gov [Click Here].

For more information, contact the Big Bear CERT Coordinator Eric Steele at eric©ericsteele.net or Big Bear CERT Fire Liaison Nick Bruinsma at nbruinsma©bigbearfire.org. You can also contact the County Fire OES CERT Coordinator John Ferdon at john.ferdon©oes.sbcounty.gov.

I get scorpians here too, inside & out. I hate them as much as I hate snakes. I'm too old for this...." steaming pile"

Reanalized my tame garter's length. [Click Here] Since the narrowest wheelbase vehicle we own is the jeep YJ, at 6 foot, stretch that guy out. Crickey, she's a real beaut!

Can it be used on a plane? 🐍's on a ✈

Seriously tho', I almost bit for Dr. T's (not pet safe, stinks (sulfur). Thing is the smell/potency doesn't last as long as they claim and I'd like to keep the non-venomous mouse killers. Maybe keep living repellent plants? But there goes my 🐁 killers.

A skittish, new, ~3 foot racer (?) black w/yellow'ish stripes along it's length, went into the wood pile late this morning.
