I did not get an accurate snow depth. I dig dig a snow pit however to check out some of the underlying layers but did not do any actual testing and did not dig to the ground. The pit was dug at the base of the 2nd chute. There was about 4 feet of new snow on top of an ice crust layer from this storm, you can see the ice layer in the photo. When I was there a month ago doing Jepson, there was about 3-4 feet of snow down to a hard ice layer with some depth hoar to the ground, probably 12" or so. So with whatever snow fell in-between, there is about 8 feet of snow to add to that. At Dry lake where we camped, we stuck a probe to the ground and dot about 2 meters.

Had a couple small flare-ups today Stacy, nothing major. They're making good progress. Burning actively on the eastern flank in Millard Canyon, but vegetation will become more sparse as it burns into older burns. Things are looking good, no threat to us, aside from occasional smoke.
