The thing is they left room to come back if they choose to. Also plenty left for a spin off. Plenty of people to move into leading rolls.
But a decent ending.
It was getting predictable
Jack does need to mellow out a bit he was getting a bit out of line the last few "hours"

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Someone who thinks logically provides a nice contrast to the real world.

"I solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same"

His school had a patriotic program the other day. So cute. I cried when they sang America the Beautiful.

Just overheard my 7 year old grandson singing "The Grand Old Flag". "Should all the planktons be forgot, keep your eye on the Grand Old Flag". How cute is that?

Also - watch your step. It is baby rattler season. Where there is one, there are probably 10-20 more. Saw a one-button baby - very pretty - that came from the north end of Mt. Doble/Gold Mountain.

There have been at least one cougar in the far reaches of Baldwin Lake and Lake William for several years.

I believe this young one is trying to find his own territory, away from the old one.

Careful folks- if it was spotted in Shay the normal daily range will take it all the way into Erwin Lake and possibly even Lake Williams.
