Probably the airshow...contrail...

How far west/southwest? The pacific airshow is going on. So either that, or skywriters? Chemtrails arent a real thing.

You're welcome, Walkermuggz. I have heard positive things about the Predator generators as well. There are lots of options out there. I happen to have two WEN generators, a small inverter one at our cabin here in Bear City, and a slightly larger one at our DTH house. I have been happy with both of them.

What's going on in the sky west/ southwest of Big Bear? Jet flying erratically making off and on Chem trails?

Bear Mountain is hosting Wings Over Big Bear today: A Community Tribute to Jackie the Bald Eagle.

Canvas: its yet another tribute to jackie the eagle.

Personally i think people need to let her go and move upwards and forward and embrace what is coming, and not dwell on the past. Celebrate her life and memory but enough weekly milking the eagle...

Does anyone know what is going on at Bear Mtn. Today?

Btw craig, the new chatbox did all sorts of unnecessary stuff when entering my last post, newer isn't necessarily better. Box sizing, shrinking, all sorts of stuff that made it a PITA...

Last year i got a predator 2000 ultra quiet generator. It ran about 600 bucks. Puts out 13.3 amps, which runs either the fridge OR the microwave OR the toaster oven AND a string of led carnival lights. Fridge needs 2-3 hours of run time per 12 hours to keep cold if you keep it shut.
8 hours run time to a gallon of gas.
Extension cords through the house are a pain but its better than being completely in the dark. Ill run it in the morning and evening then shut it down, its easy enough to set up and take apart, figure out the cord setup and light string hanging before the outage happens.

Far as our upcoming outage its from 1130 pm to 7 am the next day when the majority of folks are sound asleep. I do like how bves gave a specific time this time and not just a " maybe, maybe not" or a " just kidding, fooled ya"...

DoggieD, I see a lot of those predators on food trucks. They seem to be stout and quiet generators. I wouldn’t mind having one. Mine is a westinghouse and it is a noisy one lol. But dependable. Thank you for the info.

FWIW, I'm not making a specific recommendation for this brand of generator, or retail store.

I'm simply offering information regarding a product I have seen previously discussed.
