God had watched over this valley. The Line and Bradford fires could have overwhelmed us. That storm that wiped out Wrightwood could have easily made it over here and Forest Falls. Warm
weather allowed Hwy 38 to be completed months early and just before a big storm. Yes, we'd like more snow for the resorts; but the lake is full, there's food in the grocery stores, gas in the gas stations, socks and underwear at Marshals, and baby chicks at Tractor Supply. We have a hospital, an airport, and 12 Mexican restaurants. Churches were packed last evening, and roads are clear today. We are truly blessed.
