Calamity Jane1 hour(s) ago Hello all. Does anyone have a link for live webcams around Running Springs? Asking so I can see the weather conditions, fog, mist, snow, etc.. that would make the visibility difficult for driving. Thanks

mountainart20 hour(s) ago some idiot just tried to pass us coming from shay road on the section that is super narrow and only 1.5 lanes wide. coming to the blind curve, they were passing us, forcing us to go off the side of the road, then we had to slam on our brakes to let them get in front of us and literally missed a headin with a vehicle coming towards us around the bend........
⚡WX ALERT⚡24 hour(s) ago ❄️❄️NEW WEATHER ALERT ❄️❄️ A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect across the San Bernardino Mountains for elevations above 6,000 feet through 10:00 PM Tuesday. A fast-moving cold front will push through the region this evening, followed by wrap-around moisture as low pressure moves through the area on Tuesday.
This will result in accumulating snowfall down to 5,000 feet, with accumulations of 3-6 inches expected above 6,000 feet. This includes many mountain communities, such as Big Bear, Running Springs, and Wrightwood, etc.
Travelers should be prepared for winter weather driving conditions. Always plan ahead, pack extra food, water, blankets/warm clothing, and carry tire chains at all times! This storm will exit the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, but more unsettled weather could arrive later this week!
