It's been a while since I've seen a snowplow go by.

Windy and icy as well as snowy. One of our friends horses slipped and went down- couldn't get back up because the ground was too slippery! Scary. Alls well now and horse doesn't seem any worse for it.

Definitely a mess BBNona! The traffic system here has reported stopped traffic for > 5 mins on and off all day for all the routes!

Glad that you guys are ok, Razz. I'll tell ya', this evening, I nearly got stuck right at the apron of our sloped, off camber driveway. I have been driving these roads since the 80's, and still have a lot to learn. Be safe, everyone! ❄🩵

7" here now and a plow went by about 30 minutes ago and only in 1 direction but better single track than nothing.

As a gentle reminder….chains are required to be in possession if you are traveling through the mountain area. Chain installers will be on scene at chain control checkpoints during the day to assist with installs for a fee. Stay safe.

Knew shouldn't have gone out but wife stuck sideways up last street before 2N10. Thought she could beat it but 7200 ft a little different than SL. Probably close to a foot up there now. Been a while since the mountain took a piece of our pride 🤗. Hey, no one hurt, no insurance adjusters this time so all good. Will deal with it tomorrow when less of the vertically challenged are here and im not ready to move to the desert 🤣🤣. If you got to go, be ready for anything 🙏

Van, I'll be pulling out the snowblower tomorrow morning as well. The machine needs a workout after sitting idle for a long time (other than periodic maintenance). I ain't touching it until after a cup or two of Java.

I'm seeing 6" on our deck railing. We came home to BBCity from Eagle Point just after Van was reporting 5" in Sugarloaf. 5" on the streets and in the driveway. Thank goodness for AWD and years of experience. Plows are nowhere to be seen yet. We sure hope that everyone is home safe, and cozy with your loved ones.
