SR 38 [IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA] IS CLOSED 1.9 MI EAST OF FOREST FALLS BLVD (SAN BERNARDINO CO) - DUE TO SNOW - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE - LOCAL RESIDENTS WITH PROPER IDENTIFICATION WILL BE ALLOWED ACCESS CHAINS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL VEHICLES

HWY 38 AT JENKS LAKE IS COMPLETELY GRIDLOCKED. SEVERAL VEHICLES AND BUSSES STUCK.

Here's a link to the CHP incident, only that frame covering 38 closure. It works in the Firefox browser, but not in some others:

Too many failures with that link, so use this one:

Make sure it is the San Bernardino page (if not use the pull down menu at the upper left to get there), and navigate to the incident (started at 10:00AM). There are probably other SR38 incidents by now, so check the mile marker numbers if one is provided. Bigger numbers are closer to Big Bear.
