Some Old Big Bear Aircraft Photos

These images were scanned from actual photographs. Whether they were really shot in Big Bear. while highly likely, considering the source, cannot be verified.
On the back in blue ink: "What an airport 19 so & so." Then, in black ink and different handwriting: "1917 (scratched out) 1922 Thomas-Morse S-4C."
On the back: "Marine Corps Corsair in BBL 1945."
Note to B&B: Don't bother telling us it's illegal to land a plane in the lake.
