BootsNBridlesApr 15 21: 12:34pmWhen Amerigas let our tank go empty- instead of filling it on the scheduled auto-fill- they did send someone out and filled it that night. (middle of winter!) Last month they sent us a credit off a future fill as an apology for the mix up! So not all bad! :-)
JillyApr 15 21: 11:57amArrowbear Rider - We switched to Amerigas (formerly Thomas Gas) a few years ago after Ferrellgas became difficult. But my last contact with Amerigas was awful too since they no longer have any local contacts. Maybe Ferrellgas is now the lesser of the two evils for those of us requiring propane? By the way, the only way my last issue with Amerigas was solved was after I contacted their CEO directly, Hugh Gallager.

I closed my accountant over 10 weeks ago, notes in their system confirm the call and all details from the call including the problems I had trying to use their "friendly" internet self service, their way of avoiding hiring actual people to help AND their automated phone system and the amount of time wasted trying to use their DIY account management!!!
Then after all of that and the notes about the above, they never even closed the account & they sent me a bill (on auto fill) for filling the 250 gallon tank AND I just wasted too much time on the phone closing the account for the second time.
At first they didn't even see that I called in and seem to be questioning IF I actually called in, but after some carefully and calmly asked questions did I get all the info above from the notes showing I did close the account and they dropped the ball as the CS rep told me.
So, how come he saw those notes after, but not at the beginning? hmmm.
