BTW- highway signs exist and are used in other rural states that activate with flashing lights when large livestock are in the immediate area. since your dollar is being debased at over 5% a year+ due to govt deliberately needing to keep inflation going to pay off banks, in actuality it means your taxed value is actually going down. This is fine if you have s constant income stream that is goong up with official inflation numbers, but wholly devastating to those on fixed retirement income.

Just be glad you don',t live in a state where a developer comes in and builds mansions around you and your property assessed values go up just because neighbors built up the neighborhood.

It is all evil. Florida gets it, and I hope their tax exemption on your homestead passes.

I have lived in Big Bear 8 years now and I can’t think of a single year our property taxes haven’t gone up.
