jujubean, I have a CyberPower 1000VA UPS. I have the modem and router plugged into it.

When we have these outages, it keeps our Spectrum connection live for an hour or two. That's usually sufficient for short outages.

Our Spectrum usually stays up for the duration of these outages, provided that I keep the equipment powered on by UPS or generator.

SCE is now reporting power restoration by 2AM per SCE website.

Power is also off in Yucaipa... Bryant and the 38 is out.

BVES only shuts the power off when there is wind in the forecast, the fastest wind I have seen during a shutoff is 10mph(Windy app). Who ever makes the call needs to be fired.

So Spectrum has just speculated a 9pm return of power, but will update at 6:30pm. We’ll see.

We usually receive those impending PSPS alerts from BVES via SMS, but we didn't receive one this time.

Doggie Daddy, what is the UPS you have? Is it from stored solar or some you can buy from spectrum? Or??
