⚡NEW EVENT - HIGH WIND WARNING⚡
A High Wind Warning is now in effect from noon Tuesday to 3:00 pm Thursday for the San Bernardino Mtns & High Desert!

A storm system moving into Southern California will produce south winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
Isolated gusts to 75 mph.

* WHERE...Apple and Lucerne Valleys and San Bernardino County
Mountains. Strongest winds along the desert slopes of the
mountains and adjacent desert foothills.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to 3 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
for high-profile vehicles.

Arrowbear engine 3556 with an ambulance on order. The 60 year old female with chest pain and difficulty breathing will be at the Arrowbear station 33045 Highway 18 at 2026. 3556

On the 38 opening so soon, the contractor i was with said the game changer was fhem having 2 big rock crushers on site. They didnt have to haul dirt up the mtn. A lot of the collapse material was crushed and reused.

He also said they used local material. Imported material has to be sanitized at $300 a ton.
