Does anyone use an Ecoflow battery/solar based generator? Wondering what your experience is with it up here on the mountain. Thanks!

we do stream a lot on starlink but just one device at a time usually and it seems to work fine I'm not sure if its the same speed here in the US but we pay for the slowest service.

Starlink's a great alternative if you just need it for basic internet and email. Not great if you stream a lot of shows/movies or gaming. The latency isn't as fast as copper or fiber. But it seems to be improving every day. A great option.

Trail Rider, while we don't have Starlink, our son who lives in Lahaina, Hi used Starlink to communicate with us during the 2023 fire. They are located in an open area of west Maui. At the same time, people in the upcountry (mountain area) of east Maui could only communicate via Starlink or ham radio.

We don't have Starlink here but we do in Mexico and it works really really well. There has been 1 worldwide outage in the past year but thats when they started up with Tmobile and seems like a 1 shot deal.

Anyone on here have StarLink? If so, do you like it? I'm considering it for internet and dish service.
