If it helps, issue was/is on a motorola moto smartphone, and not the samsung galaxybtablet...

Thanks craig i tried the desktop setting and it apparently worked, pulled socal up without it and immediately got the full page orange ad that kills the experience... thanks for all you do sir!

FULL-SCREEN AD ISSUES ON SCM (Mobile Phones)

Thanks to HIB for pointing out the ongoing problem with ads taking over the entire screen on iPhone and Android browsers. I know this has been frustrating, and I'm still working on it.

In the meantime, Rad Cabin reminded me that several users have fixed it by turning on "Desktop Mode" in their phone's browser (Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone). I posted a quick how-to earlier this year, and I'm sharing it again for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. It only takes a few seconds:

Looking at it from another device its an amazon ad, too big to tell on the phone, but it was difficult to dodge it long enough to say " help!" I'll dare try it again in the morning...

Coming from erwin id suggest taking the long way round baldwin lake all the way out to stanfield, you have to wait to get to paradise to north shore but that worked after a good ten minutes standstill wait. Whew!
