cricket3 hour(s) ago California will ALWAYS be the BEST.
mountainart3 hour(s) ago CARB comes to mind. unelected, unfireable, protected by CA ruling party.....so they don't care that gas will go up 95 cents next year, according to latest UC study...... rhey are rich, so who cares that they are killing CA economy. welcome to the united states first third world economy state. once again, just my opinion.....
mountainart3 hour(s) ago who does eliminating excessive govt bureacracies and non productive govt workers benefit?
only those who eschew govt nanny caretaking and don't depend on govt to live their lives for them. just my opinion
cricket3 hour(s) ago Ik Boots...but he does like shoving something in the face of authority and it would be great if he made the EPA allow bves to fire up the generators.
BootsNBridles4 hour(s) ago cricket- the prez elect could care less about us unless one of you have a couple billion dollars hiding in an account.
cricket4 hour(s) ago Airport Razz, I think we should send a letter to President Trump. He basically has not much use for those types of regulatory agencies, and I bet a home made pie he would MAKE THEM fire that puppy up so we have power.
Trail Rider6 hour(s) ago Thanks Boots, I tied in with JoJo too...
Pskov111 hour(s) ago To Razz: You coment about left hand/right hand was on point. As a former federal employee, I saw it all too often. Even since my retirement in 2002, I continue seeing it constantly in matters of which I have to continue dealing wih a federal agency.
Bearable14 hour(s) ago Why not sell generators to Arizona?
Airport Razz15 hour(s) ago EPA wont let BVES fire the thing up. The regulations changed while the thing was in construction and there was no grandfather clause. EPS saw fit for The Citizens of the Big Bear Valley to take it in the shorts once again. Seems to be a trend up here. BTW whos going to keep the snow off those solar panels?????
ROCK15 hour(s) ago THEY FLATOUT LIED TO YOU
ROCK15 hour(s) ago mountainart the sherriff and hospital had backup generators way before the electric company con jobbed the residents it serves no purpose and hasnt been used once.for critical buisness's.
BootsNBridles24 hour(s) ago Windy- this type of solar field does not endanger birds with heat- but possibly messes with their migration due to reflection. Research is still out on that. These panels generate very little heat- goes against their purpose, instead they convert solar energy into electricity. However there are many other legitimate issues with this particular site and migration interruption is just one of them!
BootsNBridles24 hour(s) ago Trail- 400% is semi-heresay. The contractors for the project mentioned it to one of the folks at the first meeting. Probably wasn't supposed to be shared! :-)
