Pskov146 minute(s) ago Dear SCM Alert! Thank you for your input. I had long suspected he meant coming up the front, but the driver insisted it was 38 that where the problem was. He later called me and said someone crashed into a power poll. Funny thing. All persons involved in the communicating were born outside the U.S. Thr driver, a Mexican, the owner of the medical transport business, an Indian, and I, the patient, a German. But I've been here since I was 3 years old.

The front way is closed between Snow Valley and the Dam with lots of construction on the 18 & 330. My guess is he's trying to come up the front way?
Pskov13 hour(s) ago WTF is going on on Highway 38? My medical transportation driver called me at 10:00 A.M., saying that traffic was stopped. As he's not a mountain resident, he can't report where he is. Cell phone reception is the s@i#ts. I've been monitoring SCM, the Highway Patrol and Caltrans, and all say nothing is going on. It's been nearly two hours since my driver called and it is inconceivable that no one has learned of or posted the traffic and where it begins,  in the public realm!
