Bear Valley Electric Service, Inc is aware of the outage affecting the customers throughout Big Bear Valley. BVES crews have been dispatched and are working to restore power safely. Outage is due to lightning striking one of Southern California Edison (SCE) lines. Estimated time of restoration is 2 - 4 hours

Do you mean a helicopter? And dark power means during the night? So they might not start working on anything until tonight? I thought the hospital and grocery stores had generators. Probably dumb girl questions.
