grocery outlet has great deals. store was pretty crowded, but most came for opening day looksies and ended leaving with a cart of groceries.

SNOW VALLEY / BBMR UPDATE
Due to the current situation, the Snow Valley Job Fair scheduled for TODAY, Saturday (10/5) has been postponed. The Job Fair will now take place on Saturday 10/19 from 8am to 12pm at the Snow Valley Resort. Starting wage is at least /hr or more depending on the job. Both seasonal and year round positions are available.

I for one appreciate SBSO broadcasting lifting evacuation status just as much as them broadcasting the warnings and evac orders, its timely and a good way to keep people in the know, now that we cant listen to sheriff's directly via scanner. Fire radio traffic yeilds that info but has to be followed closely to get the whole picture...

Hi all, looking for someone who's good at drain cleaning with a snake...periodic problem drain with blockage a way down the line. I sold my snake and dont do that kind of work anymore...

I was mistaken. The location for the Red Cross supplies is actually at the fire station across the street before The Oaks. They have loads of boxes of non perishable foods and all sorts of extra goodies for anyone and they are very eager to give it away. Don't be shy. I'm not sure how long they'll be there today, but they said they'll be back from 10-2 tomorrow, too.

Also, they are giving away extra provisions up at The Oaks lodge parking lot. I think it was extra supplies donated to the firefighters. I think they have food boxes and looks like cases of water. Masks, gloves, trash bags, etc.

I talked to the guy at the road block. They said there is not currently an ETA for that to reopen.
