We got a message from Mark (SB County Gov) and he said:
"Helicopter over Bertha peak is related to powerline replacement project for the County"

The upper-level flow is out of the west-northwest. The smoke in Arizona & Nevada is headed more towards the east into New Mexico, Utah, etc. Our smoke is all coming from the 40,000 acre Gifford in the Los Padres Nat'l Forest. [Click Here]

Here in Morongo, we have an east/n.east wind bloiwing. i would assume that smoke is also coming in from the 8 fires in Nevada and Arizona.

Helo now orbiting the Holcomb Valley area.

Smoke is from the Gifford fire in Santa Barbara. Doohickey, not quite. Just ads generated by the system.

Assuming that the helicopter orbiting the peaks is part of the smoke check reported under Incidents??

OMG! Smoke laying low and drifting between the houses over here in Moonridge! Looks weird! Smells awful like electric wires.

There's a fire in the pinon hills just west of the cajon pass and the wind is blowing in from the west and I suspect that's where all this smoke is coming from. It's a 25 acre fire and 10% contained

Lots of drift smoke this morning. Are we SURE there's no local fire?

The ads here have been a subject for some time now. Seems to return after a major server Update, perhaps it sets a bunch of things back to default and Craig (& Ben) then hustle around finding where their original code/settings were moved to
or renamed, even new tweaks.

Frontier Fiber blocks intrusive, etc ads, at the eero router.
So Much so, that early on I had to include a few redirects as exceptions in their router settings like;

Looks like we getting some drift smoke again, here in the falls. Guessing Dragon Bravo fire. I don’t see anything else close to our range, watch duty.
