tctahoe8 hour(s) ago Kensington-aren’t those mini splits great? The A/C works great too. We had some put in last year and yes they’re a godsend. I was of the old thinking as well that fans will keep it cool. But these last few summers if we don’t get good monsoonal weather have been hot!!! So ya they’re great!!
Benny ⭐21 hour(s) ago Good thinking Kenai, it may not be needed much, but when it is, it's a godsend! Certainly nice to have.
Our warmest period is late June through early July, so we could be getting started a little early! But it's also supposed to be an above-average monsoon season, so that could help mitigate any extreme heat.
Kenai21 hour(s) ago WOW! I just saw Ben's Weather predictions and we are looking at 80 degree days later this week. That seems a bit crazy and people say you don't need A/C in BB. I am glad I didn't listen and put in some Mini-Splits that cool and heat. I know some of the A/C guys don't like them up here but I'm on year 2 and I love them. They are way better than the window units and super quiet.
