12 hour round trip to my happy place Saturday. 5 hours spent with lunch, car show & activities. Overlooked the super rude people from dth, long waits, etc. just part of it on a big weekend. Drove past my old house & loved that somebody else is loving it & maintaining beautifully. Looking for the next one.

Prayers for the fireman that had to be lifted out. Can't imagine what they do for us in all this heat.

Thx SCM. Think I got that covered. On the map from X it also had a couple things on 247 that I couldn't figure what they were. Traffic between Pan Springs and Baldwin Lake Rd can't be too much worse than all around Division and North Shore today. We don't go down until Wed then Monday.

Units on scene of a small vegetation fire with some light brush and a couple trees on fire. Units can handle. This is burning south of the 210 at the 330 interchange with no threat to the forest or mountain interface...

Casa, the only thing Caltrans is reporting on the 18 to Apple Valley is ONE-WAY controlled traffic between Baldwin Lake Road and Pan Hot Springs in Big Bear City. Expect Delays in that area. If you go around Baldwin Lake on Baldwin Lake Road you can get around this construction.
