Starlink's a great alternative if you just need it for basic internet and email. Not great if you stream a lot of shows/movies or gaming. The latency isn't as fast as copper or fiber. But it seems to be improving every day. A great option.

Can anyone recommend snow removal services? I looked in classified did not see anything and the guy we have used for years we can’t reach. Thx for any help!

Trail Rider, while we don't have Starlink, our son who lives in Lahaina, Hi used Starlink to communicate with us during the 2023 fire. They are located in an open area of west Maui. At the same time, people in the upcountry (mountain area) of east Maui could only communicate via Starlink or ham radio.

We don't have Starlink here but we do in Mexico and it works really really well. There has been 1 worldwide outage in the past year but thats when they started up with Tmobile and seems like a 1 shot deal.

Anyone on here have StarLink? If so, do you like it? I'm considering it for internet and dish service.

Thanks Van! We saw the guys working on the lines down the street from us on our dog walk. Those poor guys worked through the night. That had to be cold and miserable. So I won’t complain. But I’m thinking there’s hope. If not, we may be roasting hot dogs over the fireplace tonight 😂
