holeinbow8 hour(s) ago Ah, the little ones that look like mosquitoes but dont bite, and are attracted to light. We had renters who left the lakeside door open and lights on while watching a movie in the other part of the house. They freaked out when that room was filled with tiny non bitey flying insects. Solution was to turn on deck lights, turn off room lights, and wait an hour or two for them to move on their own...
Airport Razz8 hour(s) ago I believe you small winged pest are referred to as Midges and are quite prevalent at this time of year. Have a couple of cabins that the north facing decks are inhabitable between the spider webs and these flying marauders.
KK9 hour(s) ago Did you say Moths? They have been fairly light light for us this year.
holeinbow14 hour(s) ago Grain weevil moths? Check all your cererals and grains and flour products, beetles are less than 1/8 inch and brown, moths 3/8 inch and beige in color. Dispose of all cereal, oatmeal, flour, pancake mix, anything flour based. Put replacement product in screw top containers and keep them sealed...
McToddy14 hour(s) ago yeah.... skinny little suckers with wings... almost transparent too
Kenai17 hour(s) ago Hey MToddy, I have noticed a bug that I have not seen before and they look like little moth's but skinny and maybe 3/8" long. I have a bug zapper in the yard that gets most of them. Is that what it looked like?
McToddy17 hour(s) ago Walking out of Vons , I noticed a ton of flying bugs congregating around the lights (I'm sure a number of them are flying inside) -- are those mayflies? They weren't mosquitoes, but looked like winged silverfish.
