SCM ALERT🚨26 minute(s) ago Helicopter 534 is done working on the SaddleRock Fire (this was the lightning snag reported yesterday east of Cactus Flats). They flew in a crew to button up this fire. Helicopter 534 will now be working with crews on the Anderson lightning snag.
Benny ⭐28 minute(s) ago It's pretty intuitive. Everything you need is on the front page. Live data, forecast, live cams, satellite & radar. Click the radar to see more radar sites, satellite for satellite, click on the forecast for more details, etc. It's all very interactive.
And it has a great rain-snowfall forecast in the menu, outlooks, etc. It's all built into the site, your one-stop shop!
holeinbow32 minute(s) ago I was kinda overwhelmed by the new bensweather page, theres so much going on that itll take a while to learn it and unlock all that it holds, its all good...
Walkermuggz36 minute(s) ago We have gotten some rain. Not long lasting but nice. No real down poor as of yet. Definitely cooler and loving it.
SCM ALERT🚨41 minute(s) ago Thanks Walker! Good to hear. They will get er done! Have you had any downpours yet? Forest Falls seems to get hammered during monsoon
Walkermuggz43 minute(s) ago No Scm, it’s not doing much. I don’t think it’s a concern. And in correction, it’s slightly west of Anderson but not much.
SCM ALERT🚨45 minute(s) ago Per Scanner: Anderson Incident ( lightning snag) north of Forest Falls. Helicopter 534 will be coming on scene of the Incident Command in a little bit. They have approval to alnd a chopper in the Wilderness so they can insert a crew that can hike into the incident.
SCM ALERT🚨47 minute(s) ago Walker, yes listening to them on the Scanner... The Anderson incident... USFS sent a response at 9:40 this morning... not doing a lot.. Single lightning snag...
Benny ⭐54 minute(s) ago Additionally, the power outage yesterday was caused by a lightning strike on SCE equipment, not BVES. It was in the high desert down near Cushenbury. This explains why SCE had to inspect the equipment before re-energizing. It happens, that's Mother Nature!
Walkermuggz58 minute(s) ago Looks like we have a snag on this forest falls side. Looks to be East of Anderson but more on this side of the ridge.
Van1 hour(s) ago now some steady rain yay!
