FROM CHP CAD:
Moving the closure on 38 to Jenks Lake Road West. Vehicles are getting inside of the closure to take pictures and its still unstable in the area.

The photos handed from camp tahquitz are glass road, downslope from hwy 38. At 6pm last night I drove past glass road on hwy 38, no problem getting to big bear

Does anyone have information on the mudslide over highway 38 at Stetson Creek? (1/2 mile southwest of Jenks Lake Rd W). Left vehicle last night and need to get back from Big Bear to retrieve the vehicle.

330 mud is turning to sand as it dries out, will be really slick for motorcycles especially on blind curves, some dust hindering visibility as well.

Scm shows hwy 38 open. Cal trans says closed from mountain home to lake Williams.
