We were hit pretty hard. A lot of rain really fast. It’s a mess here in the falls.

Good grief! I only looked away from the chat for a little while. Sure sounds like a mess for a lot of folks. We hope that you all are safe and well.

@CHP Arrowhead:
SR-38 is completely shut down due to heavy flooding and mudslides. There is an unknown ETA for the highway to open. We urge all drivers to use alternate routes and plan your travels accordingly.

SCM STT: Forest Falls County Fire Patrol 99 has made it on Valley of the Falls to Torrey Pines Road. The road is completely blocked and is not accessible. Cannot access anything west of Torrey Pines Road. Several Power Poles are also down.
