They probably couldn’t hold a straight line with all the potholes.

Looks like they hired a drunk crew again as the last two years. Nice job CalTrans 🤦‍♂️

Shout out to the repair of our 3rd world road conditions, oh, my bad, still the same garbage, never mind. At least we have repainted lines on some of the road. Ok, done for now...

Bildo - I spotted a CalTrans Commuter Alert re: the closure on Hwy 330. Next week May 20-24, it will be a full closure M-Th 7-5. Repairs to be done.

I assume they will post an update for the following week in a few days. I expect that one will be full closure May 28-31 Tues-Fri 7-5. CalTrans rarely does work on holiday weekends.

After a brief flare up yesterday afternoon, the fire experienced minimal growth overnight. Crews remain engaged to extend and improve containment lines.

Road closure and evacs remain in place without change.

Unfortunately, in Big Bear, the County weed abatement map tracks only properties in Fawnskin. Big Bear Fire Department covers the rest of the valley, and does not submit info to be added to the map.

My turn to ring y'all 📱🤳.

Stay positive HiB, they put in some good, long years, I'm sure.. My mum is about all that's left now, minus my sis whom is also a mom. Had some nice lengthy chat-ups with both.

From my pre-teen years ..mother's side, the annual family reunions were pretty epic, 3-4 dozen would attend and mostly each diff states to boot. Good times/memories.
